Xinjiang Aofan closes, Jilin Dongfeng revives ferroalloy production
Aofan Ferroalloy has had to stop ferrochrome production at its one rotary kiln electric arc furnace (RKEF) in the Wuwu Industrial Park in northwest China's Xinjiang province. However, another ferrochrome producer, Dongfeng Ferroalloy, has revived one RKEF for production in Jilin Province, Kallanish notes.
