Xining Special to invest way out of loss
Xining plans CNY 284 million ($42.71m) in investment on technology upgrades for its caster, bar crack detection lines and pellet desulphurisation equipment this year, according to local news. Over January to September Xining Special produced 831,200 tonnes of crude steel and 914,700t of steel products, respectively down by -1% and up by 7.6% year-on-year, Kallanish notes.
