Xining Special bears huge first-half losses
Amid weak demand and pressure from high-priced raw materials, China-listed Xining Special Steel reports huge losses for the first half of the year, according to an exchange filing.
The company saw combined production of 287,900 tonnes of coke, 893,100t of crude steel and 888,300t of finished steel, which respectively increased 2.93% but decreased 9.71% and 8.06% on-year, Kallanish notes.
