Xining Special and Minmetals post losses for 2018
Xining Special Steel announced on 29 January that the company expects a net attributable loss of CNY 1.8-2.4 billion ($268-357 million) in 2018. Fangda Group had previously intended to purchase Xining Special Steel and reorganise it, but eventually withdrew from the acquisition as the two firms could not agree terms, Kallanish notes.
