Xinglong Steel plans ESP line for future EAF
Tangshan Xinglong Iron & Steel plans to add an ultra-thin endless strip production (ESP) line to its planned 110-tonne ultra-high power electric arc furnace, according to the project’s environmental impact assessment (EIA) report.
The EAF and the ESP line are expected to reach 825,000 tonnes/year and 820,000 t/y capacity respectively, Kallanish notes.
