Xinda Steel details project construction timetable
Hebei Xinda Steel aims to construct its new 1,350 cubic-metre blast furnace and 1,500cum BF between March and October, which will combine 2.55 million tonnes/year of pig iron capacity, Kallanish notes.
In addition, two 100-tonne converters will be built during June-December at the same plant in Tangshan, according to the capacity replacement plan released on 10 February. The two converters will possess a combined 2.3m t/y of crude steel capacity.
