Wuhai City to shut down 14.99mt coke capacity
Wuhai City in Inner Mongolia has announced a plan to shut down 14.99 million tonnes/year of coke capacity in total during 2022-2024, Kallanish learns from local government news agency Wuhai Daily.
The city will close 3.42m t/y of coke capacity in 2022, and 3.83m t/y and 2.92m t/y by June and December of 2023 respectively. Finally, 4.82m t/y of coke capacity will be shut down in 2024.
