Wugang Zhongjia commissions new blast furnace
Wugang Zhongjia’s new 1,350m3 blast furnace in Henan province's Wugang city has started production, as well as one 198m2 sintering machine, Kallanish notes.
The whole capacity replacement project now has 1.22 million tonnes/year of iron capacity. Construction was carried out by China 19th Metallurgical Corporation (MCC19). The company has invested a total of CNY 931.8 million ($141m) into the project.
