China's Wulanhaote boosts production in the first quarter
Wulanhaote Iron & Steel (Wulanhaote) under Jingye Group has reported on its performance in the first quarter. According to the Xinganmeng Development and Reform Commission, it produced 372,300 tonnes of iron, up 14.1% year-on-year. The production of billet rose by 12.2% to 39,200t, while steel products output picked up by 9.36% to 31,300t, Kallanish notes.
