Worldsteel updates North American demand forecast
North American steel demand is expected to be down -15.3% on-year in 2020 according to worldsteel's October update to its short-range outlook, Kallanish reports.
Despite a strong recovery post-lockdown, "...the US is still struggling to control the virus's spread, and the recovery momentum might taper off in the coming months," worldsteel says.
