worldsteel expects 2016 global demand to fall slightly
The World Steel Association (worldsteel) forecasts global demand of finished steel to fall by -0.8% year-on-year to 1,488 million tonnes in 2016. The downward trend is expected to change in 2017 when the international organisation foresees a 0.4% increase in demand y-o-y to 1,494mt. (Watch the video interview)
