worldsteel elects new chairman
The World Steel Association (worldsteel) has elected a new set of officers, the global steelmakers’ organisation tells Kallanish.
Its new chairman is Kosei Shindo, president of NSSMC who replaces Nucor ceo John Ferriola who in turn steps down to vice chairman, a role he shares with Posco ceo Ohjoon Kwon. The treasurer is Sajjan Jindal, chairman of JSW Steel.
