World Economic Forum launches 'net-zero steel' challenge
World Economic Forum's First Movers Coalition has launched a challenge for its members to promise that 10% of their total steel purchases by 2030 would be ‘net-zero’ steel, i.e., produced with nearly zero carbon emissions. This challenge was pushed forth by the Australian company Greenhouse, which recently opened applications for startups to join its newly built $29 million climate tech hub in Sydney.
