May's working-rig count again falls by double digits, Baker Hughes reports
Another month, another double-digit drop in the international working-rig count, oilfield services firm Baker Hughes reported in its latest rig count survey, monitored by Kallanish.
The rig count worldwide in May totalled 1,158, down 44 units, or -3.7%, from 1,202 rigs in April, and down 192, or -14.2%, from 1,350 working rigs counted in May 2014, according to Baker Hughes.
