Working capital shortage halts Dost Steels' output
Dost Steels (DSL) has halted production due to a shortage of working capital. The Pakistani rebar producer is working with a consortium to arrange for working capital to resume commercial production. It is also seeking potential investments, a joint venture or strategic alliance.
DSL launched commercial production in March 2018 almost ten years after its construction. The mill produces up to 350,000 tonnes/year of 8-40mm diameter rebar in lengths of 9-15m.
