US wire rod price moves up
US wire rod prices are following the general trend upward, Kallanish learns from mill customer letters.
Nucor announced earlier this week that it will be upping all wire rod prices by $30/short ton, effective with February shipments. At least one other major producer has followed this increase, market sources say.
