Wintering birds delay UK coking coal planning application
The UK’s nascent coking coal mining project in West Cumbria in northern England says that its development progress is being delayed by a longer-than-hoped for planning application. This is because a lot of extra information has been requested since West Cumbria Mining (WCM) first submitted its planning application for the new mine to Cumbria County Council in May 2017.
