Wheatland alleges Chinese tube producers evading duties
Wheatland Tube claims Chinese circular welded pipe producers are evading US duties to nab solar power supply contracts, Kallanish reports.
Wheatland has filed a complaint with US Customs and Border Protection under the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act of 2015, alleging that Chinese producers are dodging anti-dumping and countervailing duties put in place in 2008 to supply pipe for federally subsidized solar projects.
