Western Areas announces lower quarterly production, sales
Western Areas, an Australian based nickel sulphide miner, produced 3,741 tonnes of nickel ore in the third quarter this year, a 23.8% quarter-on-quarter decline. This was due to variability in grade from the maturing Flying Fox mine and inclusion of increased low grade mining areas, Kallanish notes.
