Western Alliance plans mill start by summer's end
Western Alliance Tubulars expects its new OCTG and line pipe mill in Edmonton, Alberta, to be operational by the end of the summer, Kallanish understands.
The company, a joint enterprise between a subsidiary of Darun Jiangsu Shined Petroleum Equipment Manufacturing and the First Nation Moosomin tribe, describes the mill as “Stage 1” in an eventual manufacturing and finishing complex. The mill is expected to produce 20,000 tonnes/year.
