Turkeys welded pipe exports, imports surge in April
Turkish welded tube exports grew 26.3% year-on-year to 189,711 tonnes in April, after edging up 0.3% on-year to 161,614t in March, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
The average price of those exports dropped to $698/tonne in April from $840/t a year earlier. In March, their average price declined by $27/t over March 2014 to $771/t.
