Weldbend, Boltex investigate flange duty circumvention
Carbon steel flange manufacturers Weldbend Corporation and Boltex Manufacturing are urging the US government to investigate whether recently enacted duties are being circumvented by foreign manufacturers, Kallanish reports.
In June, the department found dumping margins of 11.32-12.58% on flanges from India and 79.17-204.53% on flanges from Italy. India was also found to have subsidised its industry at the rate of 5.66-9.11%.
