Weifang Special commissions six-strand billet caster
Weifang Special Steel has commissioned a six-strand continuous billet caster. The equipment was constructed by MCC 3, Kallanish notes.
The caster can produce 165x165mm and 200x240mm billet. The project has investment of CNY 120 million ($17.39m) and is designed to produce 1 million tonnes/year of steel billet.
