US weekly raw steel production flattens, 2015 cumulative still up on 2014
US crude steel weekly production and capability utilisation were effectively flat year-on-year in the week-ending 24 January 2015, the latest figures released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) show. Production and utilisation figures each moved almost negligibly upwards in the fourth week of the US production calendar, Kallanish notes.
