Weekly US mill output, utilisation slip further

Utilisation rates and production of raw steel slipped further during the week ended 29 January, according to the latest American Iron and Steel Institute data analysed by Kallanish. US mills operated at 81.6% of capabilities last week, producing an estimated 1.796 million short tons of raw steel.
