Weekly raw steel output rises in US
Raw steel production in the US increased last week, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
AISI’s latest data shows US mills produced 1.856 million short tons of raw steel during the week ended 13 November. This was up slightly from the 1.841m st produced the week before and was also a 14.5% rise over the same week in 2020.
