Weak Q2 prompts AZZ galvanizing consolidation
Diversified galvanizing and electrical engineering company AZZ posted weaker-than-usual second quarter results due to a downturn in galvanized steel-consuming markets and weak energy demand, Kallanish reports.
AZZ posted net Q2 income of $10 million on sales of $195m, down from $17.2m on sales of $214.2m in Q2 2015.
