Waelzholz sources low-emission wire rod from ArcelorMittal
ArcelorMittal Germany will in future supply processor company C.D. Waelzholz with low-emission wire rod – known as “XCarb” recycled and renewably produced ─ from its Hamburg plant, Kallanish notes.
The first 20 tonnes of wire rod were delivered this week to the company’s site in Hagen, Germany. Waelzholz will be using the material to manufacture hardened and tempered profiles for industrial applications, among others. ArcelorMittal already …
