WA Iron to start mining in 2024
Australian private exploration and development company, WA Iron Pty Ltd (WA Iron), is aiming to start up iron ore mining in early 2024.
The initial production capacity is around 2 million tonnes/year, Kallanish learns from the company's president Sun Tiemin. The official information on its website suggests a 10m t/y production rate at 60% Fe. Iron ore products will be shipped from Utah Point of Port Hedland.
