Vietnam expects finished steel output rise in 2020
The vice chairman of the Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) that the VSA expects production of finished steel products in Vietnam to reach 30 million tonnes in 2020, an increase of 10% year-on-year. Within this, 45% will be long products and 55% will be flats. Nghiem Xuan Da, who is also president of the Vietnam Steel Corp, was speaking at the third annual Kallanish Asia Steel Markets 2019 conference in Ho Chih Minh City on 10 April.
