VP McCall appointed president of United Steelworkers union
David McCall is the new international president of the United Steelworkers (USW), Kallanish learns via a statement from the labour union.
McCall replaces Tom Conway, who died earlier in the week (see Kallanish, 25 September). The union’s executive board has formally appointed McCall to fill out the remainder of Conway’s term.
