voestalpine invests €50 million to expand 3D manufacturing
Following the launch of the voestalpine Additive Manufacturing Center in Düsseldorf last year, (see Kallanish 21 September 2016), voestalpine’s High Performance Metals Division has expanded the technology overseas.
In April 2017, a new research centre for 3D printing of highly complex metal components began operations in Singapore. Two more production plants will open up in Taiwan and Canada in August and in autumn respectively.
