Voestalpine idles another furnace for the summer
Austria’s voestalpine will temporarily halt production at another blast furnace, execituves told Kallanish during a press conference call. The blast furnaces at its Donawitz works was projected for a reline this year, but preparations have now been advanced by some weeks due to the overall economic slowdown.
