Vietnam's steel production, sales decline in July
Vietnam's steel production and sales fell in July, even as the national economy continued to recover in multiple areas.
Steel production in July was 2.25 million tonnes, down 6.19% from June and 12.5% lower year-on-year, according to the Vietnam Steel Association. Steel sales in the same period were 1.99mt, down 11.48% month-on-month and 12.1% y-o-y, respectively.
