Vietnam's steel output falls rapidly in October

Vietnam's steel industry performance declined in October as weak demand hit local steel mills' operations. The Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) said this difficult situation may continue until the second quarter of 2023, Kallanish notes. In October this year, Vietnam's finished steel output was 2.04 million tonnes, down 16.38% from September and 28.7% lower than the same period last year.
