Vietnam's HRC market drags on listlessly
Stabler Chinese steel futures and the start of anti-dumping proceedings against Chinese and Indian hot rolled coil have had little impact on Vietnam's HRC import market, Kallanish notes. Instead, a domestic mill’s recent cut in prices seems to have reinforced the weakness in the Vietnamese market, while Chinese HRC prices remain about flat.
