Vietnam's Formasa Ha Tinh raises domestic billet prices
Vietnam’s Formosa Ha Tinh raised its domestic monthly billet prices, in tandem with the firming regional market, Kallanish notes. The mill announced on Thursday a hike of the equivalent of $7/tonne from last month.
The mill’s sales price for June/July shipment to Haiphong, northern Vietnam, for SD 295A billet is VND 9,040/kg ($388/t), and for SD390 it is VND 9,100/kg.
