Vietnam's April steel production, sales turn down
Vietnam's steel market fell back in April, but the strong first-quarter performance still supported significant growth so far this year.
Kallanish learns from the Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) that Vietnam's steel output and sales declined by 4.75% and 6.22% respectively year-on-year to 2.82 million tonnes and 2.7mt in April. Meanwhile, steel exports declined by 14.62% to 534,162t.
