Vietnam's April steel output, sales decline further
Vietnam's finished steel output and sales extended their decline in April, with the local steel market reporting a weak performance during the reporting period.
The country saw finished steel production lose 9.66% on-month and 26.3% on-year to 2.17 million tonnes, Kallanish learns from the data released by Vietnam Steel Association (VSA). Its finished steel sales meanwhile declined 8.32% from April and were down 15.1% on-year to 2.03mt.
