Vietnamese scrap market rises
The scrap import market is rising in Vietnam. Kallanish notes.
In Vietnam, Japanese H2 grade scrap offers have risen to $620-630/t cfr from $610-615/t cfr. Trading sources report a bid at $805/t cfr early this week, but no confirmed booking was heard to have taken place. “It is difficult now because the market is hard to predict,” a Vietnamese trader says. He said that he faced difficulties in sourcing vessels too.
