Vietnamese HRC market slumps further
The Vietnamese hot rolled coil import market continued to struggle last week, Kallanish notes. Traders continued to spread bearishness by inviting bids for material at low levels.
Early last week, a Vietnamese stockist, acting for local re-rollers, is heard to have ordered 60,000 tonnes of Indian-origin HRC for August shipment at around $675/tonne cfr Ho Chi Minh City. “It was a special deal,” a Vietnamese trader says of the low transaction price.…
