Vietnamese HRC importers suspend buying on price hikes
The Vietnamese import market for hot rolled coil quietened down on Friday due to a spike in Chinese strip export prices, Kallanish notes.
Offers for Chinese-origin 3mm base thickness Q195 and 3-12mm thickness Q235 HRC have been raised by around $10-15/tonne to $530-535/t cfr and $535-540/t cfr Vietnam respectively, traders said on Friday.
