Vietnam to shut Thach Khe iron mine
Vietnam's central Ha Tinh Province is seeking to shut down the Thach Khe iron mine as it turns towards tourism promotion, local media reports.
Tran Viet Ha, director of the provincial planning and investment department, says the Ha Tinh People's Committee has sent a report to the Ministry of Planning and Investment, proposing the project be terminated before May, Kallanish notes.
