Vietnam terminates PPGI safeguard duties
According to the Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam has decided to terminate safeguard duties on imported pre-painted galvanised steel sheets (PPGI) from 15 June, Kallanish notes.
Vietnam initiated a safeguard investigation at the request of Dai Thien Loc, Nam Kim Steel and Ton Dong A in July 2016. The safeguard duties were implemented in May 2017 in order to restrict imports of PPGI.
