Vietnam steel imports, exports fall in February
Declining demand due to holidays in February saw Vietnamese imports and exports fall compared with January, after the year had started with strong growth.
Kallanish notes from Vietnam Customs data that steel exports declined by 22.7% on-year in February to 747,816 tonnes. Exports in January-February saw a 44% increase to 1.69 million tonnes, despite the weaker February.
