Vietnam, Italy boost Indian 2019 HR flats exports
Indian hot rolled flat products exports soared 142% on-year in December 2019 to 425,485 tonnes, according to Indian commerce ministry provisional data seen by Kallanish.
The most-exported product was HR unpickled wide strip below 3mm thick under HS code 720839 whose shipments reached 223,521t. Their average value was $401/tonne versus $517/t in December 2018.
