VIETSE calls for carbon pricing in Vietnam
The Vietnam Initiative for Energy Transition (VIETSE) is pointing to the rapid increase in carbon emissions in Vietnam and calling for the use of carbon pricing to reduce emissions.
In a seminar held on 27 September, VIETSE stated that the emission intensity per unit of GDP of Vietnam is quite high compared to neighbouring countries in Southeast Asia, at about 0.35 kg CO2/USD.
