Vietnam approves ship recycling project
Vietnam's Ministry of Transport (MoT) has approved a new ship-breaking project by Nosco Shipyard Joint Stock Company. Although the impact on the local steel market is currently unknown, the project is expected to meet Vietnam's local scrap demand by increasing steel scrap supply, Kallanish notes.
