Venezuela's Sidor restarts pellet line
Venezuelan state-owned Siderúrgica de Orinoco (Sidor) has restarted production at its pellet line B, Kallanish understands from a company statement.
The steelmaker resumed pellet operations after the Government lifted gas supply restrictions by Pdvsa Gas. The gas company has provided 12.3 million cubic feet of gas to Sidor to ensure production of 7,000 tonnes/day of pellets.
