Sidor steel output dips below one million tonnes/year
Venezuela’s Siderúrgica de Orinoco (Sidor) has produced 900,000 tonnes of crude steel in 2015. This is over 3mt less than its output in 2008 when the company was nationalised claimed Junis Hernandez, president of local trade union Movimiento Unidad Matancera, as reported by local media.
